Dr. Luinio S. Tongson, had 25 years of experienced professional in the field of wound care and surgery.

He holds various fellowships and certifications such as being a Certified Wound Care Specialist and a Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons and more. He has pursued several post-graduate courses in general surgery, diabetes, public health, education management, and wound care both locally and internationally.

Dr. Tongson has held significant positions in various medical facilities, including heading the Dr. James G. Dy Wound Healing and Diabetic Foot Center at Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center and Diabetic Foot and Wound center at Capitol Medical Center and others. His interests lie in the management of diabetes, diabetic foot, and chronic wounds, with a special focus on Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. He is actively involved in educating others on wound care and is recognized as a key opinion leader in South East Asia on diabetic foot and chronic wound management.

His hospital affiliations include Capitol Medical Center, Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, and St. Luke's Medical Center.
